The careful lover, barefoot and fallen,
Barely hit the door
Before the worry of his acrobat trapeze,
Spinning above the world,
Seeing all the smiling faces
As he's reaching for the girl
To pull him up,
Comes crashing down
As the gravity of being a fool.
The rest from here is all unclear.
This is as far as he's come.
So in cryptic penned letters
To her without a "from,"
Never given for fear
Of setting up skyscraper tall,
And reaching for the girl
To pull him up,
Comes crashing down
As the gravity of being a fool.
