| lay down | lay down your weary tune | lay down the song you strum and rest yourself | 'neath the strength of strings no voice can hope to hum | and let the morning breeze like a bugle blow against the drums of dawn | and be struck by the sounds before the sun knowing that the night is gone | and stand unwound beneath the skies and clouds unbound by laws | unbound by laws | and rest yourself 'neath the strength of strings no voice can hope to hum |

On Understanding Blood in a Band-aid Factory
Mostly I don't understand a woman's need to understand nothing yet emote everything.
Okay, I'll give you a hint: Some women (I won't say all because I don't like to make stereotypes) as well as some men, can only understand things outside themselves once they understand themselves, and can only understand themselves by being understood. I have some of this in me. Thus the need to emote. In this situation a good listener is worth his weight in gold.
On your title: Sometimes you can learn more by watching yourself bleed than by bandaging the wound.
